Our Scottish Highland coos are your honorary wedding guests. They stand for portraits at the pasture fence.
Say your vows under the evergreens.
Five private acres of tall evergreens, sword ferns and moss in Brightwood, Oregon. Couples here have married on the flagstone patio beside the pond and sat down to dinner at long tables on the lawn among the trees. Farm tours and the spa close to the public for weddings.

Your wedding is a weekend, not a day.
One way to plan it.
The night before
Settling in at the Camp. Your people arrive and settle into the Lodge, the Cottage and the Camp. A long dinner, a fire, and a first visit to the herd.
The wedding day
Getting ready in a cedar-walled room. Getting ready together, vows in the forest, portraits with the coos, dinner under the trees and dancing after dark.
The morning after
A calf and two of the herd, by the barn. Breakfast with everyone still here and one more visit to the coos before the drive home.
Then a morning-after spa session, included with one- and two-night weddings: the wood-burning sauna, the wet sauna and the cold plunge.

Connor is there on your day.
Connor McWilliams owns the farm. He turned an overgrown forest property in Brightwood into Highland Farms, and he helps plan every wedding here and is on the farm on the day.
Your first call is with Daunte. It is free and runs 45 minutes, on Google Meet or in person at the farm, and covers your date, your people and how a weekend here works.

What couples ask us first
What does a wedding cost?
Two-night weddings from $13,000. 12-hour weekday weddings from $6,500. The total depends on your date, your guest count and how many nights you stay. Daunte goes through it on your free call.
What if it rains?
When it rained on one couple's wedding day, the reception ended up in the barn. A guest wrote:
“It rained on the wedding day, which obviously wasn’t the original plan, but everyone at Highland Farm was incredibly kind, flexible, and determined to make sure the day was still beautiful.”
Your rain plan depends on your guest count, so Daunte walks through it with you on your call.
What about alcohol and insurance?
Alcohol is bought through Highland Farms and served by an OLCC-licensed bartender. You'll also need event insurance, as for any gathering over 20 guests.
What about restrooms?
Your overnight guests have the bathrooms in the Lodge, the Cottage and the Camp. For day guests, ask Daunte on your call.
Getting here, and getting around
Highland Farms is in Brightwood, Oregon, about 25 minutes from Government Camp. Parking is on gravel, the farm is forest with some uneven ground, and there is a fair bit of walking. If someone in your group has trouble walking, ask Daunte about it on your call before you book.
